Looks great! Wish I would have went with a 17x7 front instead of a 17x9.5.

That looks awesome!! I was thinking about doing the same type of set up with the 17's up front with the cts brakes and 15s in the back. Did you have to grind the front brakes at all?

Thanks man. no i didnt have to grind at all. no spacer. just buy the calipers and the rotors and bolt them up. Only thing u have to do is take your rotors to a machine shop and have the center of the rotor opened up to 71mm from 68mm. u also need a new set of front brake lines. i got mine from flynbye performance

I hope someone can help me out here. I bought 15x10's for the rear and 17x4.5's for the front (Darkstars). I'm test fitting the wheels and haven't made it past the driver side rear yet. I had to grind the fins on my caliper just a little. No problem there. My issue is centering the wheel. I ordered the open ended lugnuts and when I got to snug them the wheels seems like it can move around ( up/down side/side). Am I over analyzing this? What centers the rim on the studs?

do you have shank style lug nuts needed for this type of wheel?

I do. I'm thinking my problem is the ring that goes in the wheel. It's not snug.

So I've educated myself a little in the last few hours lol. In thinking that he hub centric ring that came with the wheels may be different for a stock 10 bolt than a 12 bolt moser. Can anyone confirm this? If so can I just order the correct ring?

There is no reason those wheels should move around once the lug nuts are tight even without the hub centric rings if you have the correct lug nuts and the holes for the lugs aren't elongated.

I don't get it either. My factory wheels are lug centric and these Darkstars are hub centric. That's the only reasoning I can come up with. I bought the shank style lugnuts so I would assume the wheels is centered just by the hub (ring). If you look at the picture I posted above, the ring isn't quite snug on the hub.

Here was my issue. The hub rings sat too far in the rim. The moser rears also have a shorter lip on the hub so I had new rings machined locally. Everything fits without movement now. This was rather annoying but maybe this will help the next guy with a similar setup. This picture shows how deep the rings sit in the wheel so they never even contacted the lip. The next picture shows my new ring compared to the plastic ones included. It's hard to tell a difference but a few thousandths was all I needed to make this work.

Absolutely incorrect. It is a hub-centric wheel that does not have the proper sized hole for our car AND our cars are designed for lug-centric wheels. With a hub wheel, it is mandatory that the hub portion is tight because it is responsible for centering the wheel and making sure it runs true....then the lugs merely clamp it on. On a lug centric wheel the hub has no bearing (meaning can be loose or not fit properly) as the acorn style lugs center AND clamp simultaneously. Either way the wheel MUST be centered to ensure vibration free operation, and a hub-centric wheel with a loose fitting hub is incorrect. All that being said, my front runners vibrated above 50mph, I added the plastic rings and all was smooth after that. I went back and added the rings to the rear anyway even though I wasnt getting any vibes from them that I could tell.
