Question 305/45 fronts 315/35 rears??

how would this combo look/work? anyone ever try it? would the front tires look to tall or would it be hard to notice?

305-45....no such creature, and if it exhisted would be MUCH to big

i found that size tire in a corvette junk yard not sure what years its from, but i was just making sure they would be to big before i bought em

never has been a 305-45-17. There is a 305-45-18 but its a Nitto drag radial and its meant for the Lightning Pickup.

i think michelin made a 305/40x16 back in the mid 80's for the C4's, made to fit on the rear 9.5x16 wheels

Ok i got ahold of the guy at the salvage yard, they are BF Goodrich 305/45/R17 off a C4 ZR1 corvette. wasnt sure on the exact year though.

ZR1's used a 315/35x17, there is no such size as the one u listed, it would be 27.8" tall if it did, which is way too tall...

I saw a pair on ebay this weekend same BFG, same size and the auction showed a sidewall pic of the size designation. BFG made them at some point.
THAT, I am sure of. Would they look good on the front of an F body??
Hell no...and I'm pretty sure of that too. Never say never .......

I have a 26.4" tall tire. I dont think a 27" would fit.

regardless if it was made...its not correct for your car, nor was it correct for a c4 zr1.

2.15" taller than a 315-35-17 if you cant read the above
