Thanks for the tip, ScrapinBye!

This is what im running.... What ever tire you go with 315 is the perfect size for a 10.5 wheel IMO

That was the tire I was going to get but decided I wanted a tire that could take some nice corners and have good traction as well.

No problem dude, glad I could help. I just hope these tires perform decently
(or OK) in the rain and in colder temps.

I raced a turbo Eclipse last night in about 40* weather and they hooked from a 25 punch lust fine with only about 1 minute of driving and no warm up.. (I live about a half mile from a 3-mile straight.)

Was looking at those, but went with the 305/35/18's because there website listed the 305's as wider tires than the 315's. I figured different, but went the way of the manufacturer listed specs.

The higher profile is going to give you issues if you're lowered.

He should be alright with a 305/35R18 even on a lowered car. Its a 26.4inch tall tire

Yes 1st gear. They slipped just a little in 1st and spun for a split second once I hit 2nd. But for it being 40* outside and absolutely no warm up except for the half mile to the straight they did awesome! I hooked enough to pull about 10 lengths from 25-115 w/ NO spray. I love these tires. Great straight line performance and the car handles like it's on rails.

they werent the greatest pics those will have to wait till spring when the car is all cleaned up.....also youd have to see up close to get a good perspective of how wide these actually are on the 10.5 rims......they just kinda look smaller on my car for some reason..

My wheels are 18x9.5's & 18x10.5's and I've got Michelin Pilot Sports (275/35/18's &295/35/18's)on my rims at the moment. My Michelins seem lie they've lasted forever. Now it's time for some new rubber and since I don't want to pay $580+ (retail) for each 295/35/18, I'm going with BFG KDWll's. I work at a rim shop so for the price of just the 295/35/18 Michelin's I'm getting a full set of 275/35/18's & 295/35/18's BFG KDWll's. I really like the aggressive tread pattern of the BFG's.

Get ready to hear some noise. They are loud on the highway.

Any updates on you guys using the R888s? I just ordered a pair for my car to go on the new wheels (chrome dd c5s from OE), hoping in the summer heat they'll hook in 1st from a roll (630rwtq) with my 3.23 gearing, guess we'll see!

When I get them mounted I'll post up. It's just been so damn cold here, coldest longest winter I can remember! Probably be around mid to late march since I have new wheels, rotors, brakes, rear wheel studs, and of course the tires waiting to go on. I'd like to do everything at once when it warms up a little. Might even paint the calipers too.

I'm ordering my wheels in the morning. I'll run around on them in a week or two.
