Default What drag tire setup?

I am looking into getting racestar industries wheels this coming spring(15 x3.5/3.75 and 15 x 10). Will be running MT ET street dr's out back probably 275/50/15. What fronts to run? I was thinking of just getting the MT sportsmans. Any suggestions? This car will be street driven on these sometimes so I want something that will be fairly smoothe.

Just out of curiosity, why only a 275 on a 10" wheel with a good bit of sidewall? Class restrictions?

x2 ^^^

I have the Race stars also.

I like the ride feel of the all seasons..... shows you dont have to have a $$$ tire to get a good ride feeling.
Front wheel weight with tires 15x 3.75 165/80/15 All Season tires 25 lbs each
Rear wheel weight with tires 15x 10 MT ET Streets 26 x 11.5 LT 35lbs each

My stock rims chrome 17 Firehawk wheels with tires 45 lbs each

Cut 60 lbs off the car.

I was only going to do a 275 because the car still has a stock rear in it with 410's. dont want to put anything too huge on the back, but now after talking to a few people, i think ill be going with a 275/60/15 because of the gearing.

Those 275's will snap the stock rear end without a problem. Be careful or start saving some money now!

I had ET fronts and they sucked on the street and werent the safest tire. Just switched to sportsman fronts and they are 1000000x better on the street. Oh I rock the race stars also!

yea i was nervous going to a skinny because of that. i was really suprised how good the sportsmans are. i had 275s up front and they grabbed every little imperfection in the road pulling it back and forth constantly. with the sportsmans it drives straight down the road with no issues.

achotrod the wheels look awesome on ur car. i was scared to go with them b/c i love them on some cars and hate them on others. urs is one of the nicest ive seen. i got lucky tho, they turned out alright haha

Do the race stars fit the F-bodys without modification? Also about how much are they for a full set?

Yea. Broke mine on a 245 street tire. A little traction puts a world of hurt on the stock rear.
