Default Help me decide?

Alright so i'm stuck between 2 options as far as rims for the car. Black w/machined lip zr1's, or silver w/ machined lip zr1's?

going on this car:



and these are the choices:



or these



I kind of feel like the black ones would be a little overkill as far as black on the car, because I also have the black berger and am getting an SS hood with black manta overlay. The silver ones are also cheaper, both sets are from OE wheels 17x9. Just want to get some outside opinions? Any pics anyone has would greatly help.

Neither.. keep the black 10 spokes and do the following.. remove side molding, get different fender badges, whistler mod, slp bowtie grille, paint mirrors red

^ word. if your going for wheels anyway id get anything with lip i just think deep dishes are best for Fbodys. and lower but damn your duals are hanging low.

Lol damn I didn't mean for this to be a critique thread! I'm on a budget so no deep dishes for me, and the mirrors came red but I changed em to black ones, I like the look better. The wheels aren't 10 spokes they are 18 inch drifz 505b wheels. And when I got the car it had stinless fender badges and I changed them back to the stock black ones, again I like the look better. I will remove the side molding when I feel like dealing with all the crud under them. And the duals hang low but you'd be suprised, they actually have more ground clearance than anyone elses I've seen down the middle. When I had the 16 inch stock wheels on, I never scraped the duals on anything.

Out of the two choices, I like the black zr1's. And sorry, but x2 on lowering it.

I like them too but theyre a little too big for my style and I like ZR1's way more. And I should have known all the tech guys would have been all about "LOWER IT NAO!!!" haha it's a work in progress guys, i'm working everything out bit by bit. once the gears and tune are done and I get new rims on it, I'm gonna start working on suspension, and lowering springs will be first.

I like either choice, but it keeps coming back to money. The black ones are about 100 bucks more than the silver, and 100 bucks is a pretty decent difference in my situation, I just have to see what money is like once the gears and tune are done.

Save the money for wheels and use it to lower the car. The wheels you have look good on the car, atleast from what I can tell. If your dead set on wheels the I would go with the Silver/Machined Lip. But that's my two cents though.

Edit: Damn OP, I didn't know you was this close to me. About an hour to hour and a half and I'm a lot of the times in the Spartanburg/Greenville area just to get away from this hell hole of a town I'm in.

Haha that's the first time I've heard someone say they come to greenville to get away from something, its usually people getting the hell out here. Its nice, but spend 20 years here, and you'll hate it.

^^ thanks guys, that's what i'm leaning towards, I think it will be a nice break up to go through the black. The bodywork will be getting done while i'm away at basic training and i'm gonna try to get the car looking perfect after that. Gonna try to lower it before I leave, SLP grille might have to wait, I just can't justify spending that much on it with the way my money is right now.
