IMO, show car diffently needs big rims. 19" Z06 rims would be sweet.

As a show car, don't have drag wheels on it because they look cheap and uncreative. Go with the 18" chrome or polished Y2K thin spokes or the 18" chrome Z06s.

HRE, iForged, Intro, Fikse....

Possibly Bogarts if you have to have drag wheels. But don't do drag wheels, keep them for the go days only.

HRE's. Pics of mine coming soon. I don't think you can really have a show car with inexpensive wheels that alot of people have. But if it's a $$ issue, I would go with Z06 wheels.

He's only got 2 grand guys, I think HRE and Fikse are a little out of the question, unless he only needs two rims.

I would suggest staying away from draglites and prostars. Those aren't show type wheels. Go with the Z06 rims, in chrome. I don't think anyone makes the z06's in 19's, but they do in 20's. So you could go 18's all the way around, or a 18/20 combo.
To stay under budget, look into some Kumho tires. They'll ride well, and will go easy on the pocket book.

Go with the replica Chrome ZO6 or my preference the Y2k chrome. They look great and you can get a set of 18's with lugs deliverd to your door for 999.99! Leaves you room for tires too!

get a "bigger" set of Bogarts, like maybe a 17x7" front and 16x10" rear
definitely go, and looks awesome on our cars with the right design
If you go with something like the RR10 (below), you'll be catching some eyes
