heres a great wheel offset calculator that should help ya get your answer. Punch in your width and offset of the hp's as a baseline .

Wait , arent your HP's an 9.5" rim with a 38mm offset ? Why not stick with that, they look to sit perfectly on the car ? If you want em out a wee bit more go for 35mm .

I'm not sure how it'll look with a 38mm offset, since the center of the Forgestars sits further inward than the spokes.

I think the forgestars would really compliment your car, with the splitter in the front and some big brakes. Not to mention the performance you would pick up just by going to a lighter wheel. I like the wheels you have but I vote for the forgestars if for no other reason they are fresh and will stand out and give your car a racier look.

I say pick them up, and keep your current wheels and change them up when you feel like it.

Both is better!

Problem is, the Evos won't fit when I upgrade the brakes. I'd also like to get my garage space back - I already have a set of TT2s that I haven't sold yet just sitting in my garage, along with a bunch of other parts.

I'm in the same boat as you, with the same wheels even. I've got the HP evo's on my 99 hoss and I'm looking for more of a drag set up, but I love the way the wheels look and don't know what to do.

I guess I would say get the other ones so that you can put the brakes you want on your car. That will probably make you the happiest.

My F14's are supposed to be here in a couple weeks... Just wait for me to post some pics and you can decide for yourself . They are going on the car in my sig. I went with the Brushed Titanium finish though, 18x9F 18x10R

And a rough photoshop from when I was debating them...

Obviously, do whatever you want to do with your own car. One piece of information i can add though, is that the c5 rotors *do* fit easily behind the Evo's in 19"s.

I would keep the wheels you have on. They look real good on your vette
