I like the black speedlines, but definetly think its time for some paint and body work next.

how i bought it. previous owner beat the **** out of it and ive been fixing it ever since.i wanted something i could learn how to fix up with my dad

It looks alright. If you lower it, it would probably make it look 10x better.

i know its not in great shape but it is a drivable project and everything else is solid, no rust, strong motor/trans

They look good on there...Father son projects are always pretty cool. My dad and I have built 2 Mustangs basically from just a shell a few years ago. Enjoy the time spent together that is always the best part!

I'd rather have a beat up car so I could do stuff like that with my father over an already fixed up car any day. You only have one father in your life time.
