Im looking at getting some 17 inch black z06s with the machined lip for my 02 z28. I am really confused about what size tires I should get with them though. I found a package with the wheels where the tires are 275s all around. Im not sure if this is the best way to go though. I would at least like 275s in the rear though I am not sure if having 275s in the front as well is a good idea. I thought about just buying the rims then deciding what tires I should get from there. I was just looking for some feedback from some guys who know more about this than me. The car is not daily driven and only driven maybe once a week so some daily driving tires is not what im looking for. Any comments? Thanks.

They will fit no problem for a 4th gen trans am or z28

Also your speedometer will be off slightly. check on the sticky for a calculator to determine how much

Thanks man I just wasnt sure how well the bigger tires will fit and run on these cars with the stock suspension and rear end. But I will probably end up getting those with the 275s.

275/40/17's were the factory size for SS/WS-6 cars.

I was really wanting to put 315 s on the back and 265s or so on the front my buddy has this set up on his 2000 ss with 17 inch zr1s and they look great if I bought z06s I want where could I get those size tires for those rims and do 315s fit ok?
