The quality of OE Wheels is good as long as you don't get salt on them. I have the replica C6 chrome wheels on my TA and a few winters ago at my old apartment the landlord salted and then plowed the snow around my car. It wasn't driven in the winter, so I didn't think anything about it. When spring came, I noticed pitting where the salt had been. It was my own fault, but it's still frustrating to ruin basically new wheels.

I was running 2006 Z06 corvette wheels with 1.25" aluminum wheel spacers and stock LS1 lug nuts with covers, I did ALOT of heavy Burnouts and everything held up great, then I decided to switch to the Drag radials and there is a much different ride quality between the different set ups, the drag radials have more tire wall and are a smoother ride, the Z06 wheels where low profile and beat me up on the road a little. But the corvette wheels do look Great !

I won't Lie to you, I just used the "AIR" Impact Gun on the Wheel Spacers and wheels... Ran them for a Full year and Never had any Problems, There are A lot of Z06 Wheels to choose from on Ebay, Every different color and style for Great prices ! OEM are the Best

At one point I ran OEM 19x10 C6 wheels at on all 4 corners and used 1.25" spacers. I just torqued the spacers/adapters down to the same specs as the wheels which was 100 ft. Lbs. Never had any problems. (Sorry about the pics...that's all I had on this computer...)

I have OEWheels and the previous owner drove in northern winters a bit. There is severe pitting/flaking since it was driven in salt and most likely never cleaned.
