345/45/17 tire question
First let me say these wouldn't be for a Fbody. They'd be for a modified truck.
I did a Google and Yahoo search and see a Dunlop SP5000 and a Yokohama A032 mentioned in this size but, don't see anything on either of their websites.
Does anyone make a tire this size? A 345/45/18 would work also. I really just want to find a 345 size tire with a 29"-31" overall height. A 17"-20" rim could work.
Thanks

Right now, that's the only 345 width tire being made. Michelin developed it specifically for the new Viper. Before that, 335s were the widest tires (used on the old Vipers, but also used on some of the Exotic supercars before that)
That being said, finding a performance street tire that wide AND that tall... just not going to happen man. The new Dodge Ram SRT-10 uses a 305/40R22. It's 31 inches tall, just right for a big truck, but still low profile sidewall by using a very big wheel. That's pretty much your best bet. Forget about a 29 inch tall tire on a 17-18 inch wheel unless you're going for a truck tire.
