Need help with Iforged Aeros.
Anybody know where I could find the best price on these. I am looking for 18's.
So far, I found them for 3200.00 shipped for polished and 3600.00 shipped for chrome. They say it takes around 4 weeks for polished and 8 weeks for chrome. I am checking to see if someone knows where I might find them for a better price. Its a long shot, but can't blame me for tryin.
Thanks for ANY info.
PM me if you have to.
**edit** I have done some searching and found someone with a fitment/backspacing problem. If someone could please let me know what I need to be aware of when I place my order. Looking to get 18's
Thanks again

It depends on if you want the 2 piece or the 3 piece wheels. I bought the 2 piece wheels and they look awsome. They dont make the 2 piece in half sizes though. I ordered 18x9 for up front and 18x10's for out back. I ran a 275/35 up front and a 295/35 out back. I recived one of the first few sets in 2003 and it took 13 weeks from the time of order till i recieved them. The best prices i could find was this site
http://www.rdmwheels.com/iforged/iforged.htm
There price before shipping on the polished ones is $2606 with rivets in a 18x9 and 18x10.
Heres mine before i sold them...... im going 17's next time.
18x10's out back w/ a 295/35

Weight....... The 18's are heavy....... I like the look but i also want to have a taller sidewall. You can really feel the difference between a 35 series tire and 40 series. I will probably go 2 piece again and get a 17x9 up front with a 275/40 and a 17x10 and stuff a 315/35 out back. Who knows..... I might just go cheap and get a set of smoothie II's.

BUT......Chrome pits and then it all goes to hell and your out 2.5 to 3k on wheels.............. Polishe you can let it go and you can always bring it back.......I will never go chrome again....... Polished looks just as good. Im looking at the Flux this time... 6 spokes....

I spoke with Charles @ Wheels Boutique and he said that the Iforged chrome quality is not all that great. I think if I apply some Zoop Seal on the polished finish, it will stay clean for a long time. He also said that the polished finish looks chrome??
I was also looking at this wheel ( Budnil Tiller )

If you're looking at the Aeros, don't forget about the Intro GT Sports. My 17" 2-piece were $1550 shipped for the set. I'm happy with them.
I Zoopsealed them too. Hopefully I applied it right. Stuff's kind of a pain. For that kind of money, it had damn well better last too.

Chrome piting is very rare I have never seen it on any wheels I've had. You can polish them all you want, but they water spot so much easier ETC... If they have bad chrome plating that may be another issue. I would think that a reputable company would have a good Plater doing the work. I have owned many of both and by far the chrome wheels are far easier to maintain! I won't be going back to the long hours of polishing like I used to do. Even if I don't drive it every day. JMO. And every one has one of those. Have fun picking out your new wheels!
