Welds on 01 Z28... I have a buddy with a 2004 Mach 1 he has a set of 16's rear & 17's front prostar Xp he is selling and said they would fit on my car with no mods needed. ive been looking online and everything ive read said longer studs and grinding on the brakes. i have a stock suspenion 2001 Ls1 camaro. i would test fit them but i moved about 12 hours from him and can't really do so. any info is welcomed thanks. i could upload a pic of the wheels on his car if that would help any?

I know ford has a different bolt pattern. The reason i ask is B/C his wheels have a oval shaped lug patter so u can put the wheels on and spin them a little and the lugs hold them still. I was told its so it will fit the ford and chevy pattern. has anyone seen this before. it is a factory oval pattern he didn't do it himself. again they are prostar Xp 17's in the fron and 16's for the rear.

back tires are no good and front are brand new. he's asking 700 and i've seen the wheels plenty of times(he's a buddy of mine) they deff have a oval pattern i've just never tried them on my car. i wanna know if they'll fit with out having to drive 12 hours to see the guy he got them from said it was oval pattern for a ford/chevy but im cluesless...just wondering if anyone has any idea about them.....

ive got them on my car but the front is a 50 series tire and rubs a little bit would i 45 series fix this? what would be the inch diff in a 225 50 17 and a 225 45 17? or should i go for a 40 series just to be safe? thanks for any input,,

It rubs just a little not bad and im not sure of the back spacing. and the wheels came off a mach 1 he said the 16's wouldnt clear the breaks so he had to put 17's up front. im thinking about switching them around and putting the 17's in the back they both are 9 inches wide so it should work out.
