Wheel weight. Does it mater all that much

My 17x9.5 torque thrustIIs weighed about the same the stock ws6 rims. Both are polished aluminum. I think the only thing that would effect your et's would be switching to 19" rims with tall side wall like a 40. I know from personal experience going from stock ws6 rims to tall 19" rims with 285-40-19 tires. They say that it takes away from the gear resulting in slower ets
