As the title says, if someone was running a 9" w/ 4.56s, TH400 w/ brake, 4400 stall, billet specialties 15x10 street lights in the rear. Would it be safe to run a 28x10.5 in the rear or will 28s be too small? Perhaps a 29x10.5? Going to run a ET Drags.

You'll have to do a lot of work to get 29s to fit. Tire size is going to depend on what RPM you want to go through the traps at

Car makes 472 rwhp @ 458 rwtq so the motor is probably making some where around 540. Car hasn't gone through the traps right now. Last setup was just a stock 10 bolt with the 3.23s, 4L60e, and the car was on a 275 drag radial. I don't think spinning the motor at 7k would be a problem through the traps. What set up does your brother have motor wise? What was his ET and MPH?
