Default Weld R-TS wheels

I think I have settled on getting a set of 17" Weld Racing R-TS S71 rims, but need suggestions on rim width and tires to wrap them in. Was thinking of 17x9.5" 275/40/17 all around, but not sure. I live in Michigan, my '02 Z28 is a bolt on only car and is a summertime daily driver which very rarely sees the track. Please also suggest a vendor. Thanks!

Put a call into Jims Racing Tires or Texas Speed they can get the exact fit for you. I think a 17x9.5 all the way around would be sick! 7.3 inch back space should tuck nice. Have you made any modofications to the car?

Nothing suspension wise. Just the basic bolt-ons:
American Racing Headers (LT)
American Racing ORY
Magnaflow Catback
Ported TB
!Air
SLP Flopac
SLP Strut Tower Brace

I love these wheels buy em, but go wider than 9.5 so you can put nice sized tire on em.

Default Weld Rims

I love the Weld RT-S rim. I race on it. Weld makes top notch stuff. You can't go wrong.

you might want to get 10" wide. If you go much bigger in the rear you could have issues with fender lip.

The wider rim will give the car a more aggressive stance as you get more rim lip showing. it's only 1/2 inch but looks wise it's 1000x more impressive
