Spinnin in First Gear I got a 97 WS6 only significant mod is 4.10 gears. I am getting absolutely no traction with my BFG Super Sport Tires. The car is an automatic and I get hardly any traction off the line. I can hear the tires spinning too right when it hits second gear. What kind of tires do I need to get maximum traction? This car never sees the track, not driven in winter, avoid driving in rain, i maybe drive it 3-4 days a week.

I had a full bolt on, cammed, tuned and stalled auto with 4.10's and I used to dead hook on the street with some 315 nittos. With only having 4.10's I think you just need some DR's and you'll be fine. If it's ever driven in the rain I'd suggest nittos

275/40/17 There the stock size. I've only had these tires for 5,000 miles and im already down to 5 mm from 8 mm on the rear so I have like 60 percent left. I'm not doing burnouts or anything. Once the car finally hooks in first I spin right when I hit second. You gotta grasp the steering wheel cuz the car will wanna pull to the left a little bit. Just to give you an idea of what the car was doing I was getting 0-60 in 8 seconds quarter mile was just over 15 seconds.
