You're so right Merv. Sorry I can't help more, but mine say 165sr15. I am 99% sure that noone uses that designation any more because I haven't seen that size listed anywhere recently while looking for current prices. I "think" it is now known as a 165/65r-15. I have looked at 185/65r-15's too for a little more height. They are listed as being for 5" to 6.5" rims iirc, but I've seen them used on 3.5" wides often. IF you can find a site that lets you search by vehicle and goes back far enough....you want tires that fit the old VW beetle.

Don't have many choices for a Radial skinny in 15" diameters. This is about your only option. If you move to a Bias Ply your options open up a lot more.
