Yes it's definitely a good selection for the street. I just bought a new set in that exact size

Hammered it WOT from a dig and they didn't spin at all, nothing, just plastered me to the seat. I can only imagine what they'll be like at the track with my bigger stall and spraying it off the line.

I was debating staying with the 315's or moving to the 295's. The sidewall definitely gives it some more attitude. Thanks for the comparison. Looks great.

that looks really good.

do you have a weight of the front wheel setup. I think that 17x7 will fit some parts I have my stock fronts dont fit over. I dont what to run 15x3.5s on the street.

I believe I saw on Billet Specialties website that the 17x7" wheel weighs 17.5lbs. I would imagine the tire weighs close to 20lbs. 37.5lbs each wheel x 2 = 75lbs total. I run 17x9.5 Chrome ZR1s and 275/40/17 Nitto 555 that weigh 47lbs a piece so its about a 20lb weight reduction for me, not to mention rotating mass.

Right on, been looking at them for a while now. I'm thinking these will be my next tire. My F1 GS-D3's spin way too much.

I'm glad they hook because I don't think they look good at all(compared to the 315s). I personally don't think a 17" wheel should have that much tire.

I wish somebody made a 28" tall 315...

I've hear M&H made their 325 tire a little wider, but it still looks narrow (almost like this 295).
