Convo Pros width and backspacing...
Convo Pros width and backspacing... Hey, I have a full set of Convo Pros on my car I'm going to sell and buy street wheels with the money. If anyone's interested let me know, tires will be included & the wheels are in great shape.
Anyhow, my question is what width of wheels/backspacing do I likely have? My 12 bolt I believe is close to the factory 10 bolt length, we put these wheels on a 10 bolt Camaro and it had about 1.25" out of the fender from these tires. On my 12 bolt the tires stick out of the fender lip about 1". The tire sizes are 275/15's. So, 1" out of the fender lip, 275/15 tire, & we'll call it factory length rear end. Would that be like an 8.5" wheel with 4.5" bs or something? Thanks

You could always just measure it yourself to be sure. Most tire shops can measure the width with the tire on there and for backspacing put a straight edge on the back of the rim and measure to the mounting surface.
