You can always change your driving habits to compensate for the decreased ability to brake and turn with skinnies on the front, but you can't control what other people or things can and will do (like a deer running out in front of you). If you are willing to live with that risk and accept the consequences, go for it. The front wheels/tires are responsible for the vast majority of your braking and 100% of your steering, so their importance ranks pretty high up there IMO.

I drove on big and littles for a few years. Handling is obviously compromised, but it was never compromised enough to be dangerous if you drive normal and not like an idiot. Braking issues can be remedied with an adjustable proportioning valve to stop issues with locking up the front wheels. Biggest concern I had was avoiding potholes, I ran a weld prostar though. If your gonna run a CCW, the barrel of that rim will be stronger than most of the typical 15x3.5 drag wheels like I ran.

I have ran the Bigs and Littles on cars for years. Its all about the driver. I never had any issues. There are a bunch of dumb asses out their now that text and drive and just do not generally pay attention. As far as the rain goes, the narrow tires do not hyrdoplane as bad as the wider tires do.

Just having to watch pot holes is a pita. I sure would love to lighten the fron wheels though.

If your doing it for looks dont do it. My father had holeshot skinnies on his GTO. He drove it on the street very rarely but when he hit a bump dead on it cracked the rim. Make sure you got a warranty on them

Domestic rice is still rice, don't do it just for looks, you're putting yourself and others in danger.
