ZR1 info needed please???
ZR1 info needed please??? I have a 2000 SS I bought a few weeks ago and it has two OEM 17x9.5 Chrome ZR1's and two repro that have chrome coming off bad. Is the 17x9.5 the original size for my car and it has a 38 on the back of them also that I presume I the offset. I would like to buy two 17x8.5 for the front to replace the two that are peeling, did they make a ZR1 in a 17x8.5???
offsets are :
96-02 SS f-car version: 9" wide, 50mm offset on all 4(Silver)
96-97 SS covertible: 16x8" with 54mm offset(silver)
94-95 ZR1 version: 9.5" front 56mm offset/ 11" rear 36mm offset(Silver)
95 Indy 500 pace car: 9.5" wide, 56mm offset on all 4(Silver)
96 Collector version: 8.5" front 56mm offset/ 9.5" rear 56mm offset(Silver)
-Collector w/Z51: 9.5" on all 4's with 56mm offset(Silver)
96 Grand Sport version: 9.5" front 56mm offset/ 11" rear 50mm offset(Black)
96 Grandsport Convertible: 8.5" front 56mm offset/ 9.5" rear 56mm offset(Black)
That is the complete rundown of all the OEM variations of this wheel style and model they came off of.

since the chrome is already peeling you could send them to a place that widens/narrows wheels, they should be able to remove an inch from the fronts and then rechrome them. just a thought.
