8.8 Rearend with 5.5 spacing
Thinking about upgrading to a 8.8 from my ten bolt. But I am shy about it. The rear is 2 inchs narrow on each side & I currently run 335/35/17s on my car & worried if that wide tire is going to hit the inner wells on my F-Body
I would think I would have to run a 2 inch spacer to make these work. But then with the spacer will this force the wheels to stick out from the fenders?
Anyone run a 8.8 on their F-body?
Also I still have to fab a TQ Arm Mount on this rearend

I did , total waste of money ( for me ) but it depends totally on how you do your conversion whether it will work or not. I cut and grafted axle tubes from one rear to the other which allowed me to keep my desired length ( of rear ) and backspacing

I think I will just pass on it then. I would have to get it for like $350 or $400 to even consider it & even then its a gamble with the Fab Work on the TQ Arm mount, I figure I will have at least $400 in fab work & then have to deal with the 5.5 spacing where our 10 bolts are 7.5
