Exact Size For Wheels? I read this=9.5" +38 to +56 mm 255, 265, 275
And have done the research, and have come to this conclusion:
I am putting on 285/40-17s and now need the exact offset numbers for American Racing Torque Thrust II's 17x9.5. I want them to have the offset to fit without sticking out more than stock, but not rubbing more than stock up front. I know it is possible, it is just a matter of getting the right numbers.
I had something up here about the tire size, and concluded that 285 will work, I think if I am going to a wider wheel I am going to a wider tire if I can. The stock SS have 275s on a 9 inch wide wheel, I want to go to a 285 on a 9.5 inch wide wheel.
So what be the numbers? I do not want an average, just what will do what I want.
