Tire Size???????????
Tire Size??????????? Ok, so i need some new back tires for the ride. I'm thinkin of the nito 555 r's. The thing is I'm thinkin of going w/ 315's, right now I have 275/40/17 on it on 17X9 sometin torque thrust II's, just wondering if a 315 will fit and what exact size. Thanks alot for any help.

A 315/35ZR-17 would fit fine. It wouldn't even have to be Z rated, and since you're getting the nitto dr's they won't be Z rated. A 315 width is the widest you can fit on a 9in rim. I would never do it to my car because the tire overhangs too much and that causes way too much flex in the sidewall. It increases your chances of blowing a tire. A 285 or 295 would suffice without any trouble.
By manufacturer's recommendation a 315 DOES NOT FIT on a 9" wide wheel.
