Default Anyone have a pic of a 315 tire on a 10" rim?

I need to see how it looks. The wheels I want are only available up to 10" width so I'm debating between 295 and 315.

Thanks.

I know you're building a monster car, so I'm sure safety is a concern. So, just a heads-up, I'm not aware of any 315 tire that's recommended by the manufacturer for anything smaller than a 10.5"

Dude, you can put a 315 on that size rim w/o any problems. I am running 315's right now on my 9.5's and love them. Sometimes its funny on here (im not talking about u "absolut speed") but some of the same ppl who stress over there tires being safe are the same ones talking about how they get there f-bods up to 160mph, that sure is safe...ha. Im just telling all you guys what I think about this whole tire thing. I have known guys with f-bodys running 315's on there stock SS rims or w/e and have been for years and they have never had any problems at ALL, ohh yea and none of them drive there cars like grandma's either. The only thing id worry about is going very fast around corners. I hope this helps.

I know I can get them to fit. My concern is manufacturers recommendations based on how the tire was designed and how the sidewall will appear if it perhaps bulges too much...

...and this car is basically a racecar so I expect some seriously fast cornering.

Valuable tire recommendation, coming from someone who did this to their previous car . . .

Granted I have no idea what tires you were running . . . .

Mark, you may want to qualify that this is a 315/45ZR18 tire, that's a 28" OD tire. This is not for an F-Body. Just a thought.

Actually a 315/40-18 (for my '63 Corvette) and I just got off the phone with Good Year's corporate office and they said that tire was designed for an 11-12" wheel. They said "no" on the 10" wheel.... good enough for me.
