Default Will They Fit?

Will the new 5th Gen SS wheels fit on my old 4th Gen SS?

Some people say they will, some say they wont, just trying to figure out which is correct.

thanks

The biggest issue will be tire diameter.

The new SS comes with a 29" tall tire on it, the 4th gen came with a 25.6". You have to do a little cutting to fit 28" drag tires on the back of a 4th gen. If you put a lower profile on the 20s it just looks wrong IMO.

Anyway not a good match even if the bolt holes line up.

if youre going to go with 20's it HAS to be done right, otherwise it looks like crap. needs a narrowed rear a fat lip and it has to have the proper stance so you're not monster truckin it. ie like the lmr tt camaro

I wouldn't use that car as an example of how to fit wheels properly. The fronts look terribly, and are too tucked into the front fender.

The rears are, to each their own. I think huge lips look stupid.
