No, If I had to do it again and I knew the wait would be this long I would've shopped around for a used set.

I'm just gonna go with street tires and it will most likely be GSD3.

For those of you looking for tires, I shopped around and WS6 Store had the Nitto 555s (not the 555-R drag tires) for $202 each, free shipping (and tax free)! I ended up ordering 2 315/35/17s for my new wheels.

Also, for those asking about lug/locks, Thunder Racing had their black Friday sale going on and I got the Gorilla Locks at a discount! Might want to ask Thunder if they will be on sale again, maybe because of Christmas. I got the "Acorn" style, and each lug is a lock.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD3's are amazing...if you can afford them. Those are the ones that I really wanted, but they're expensive and hard to come by. Most places I checked with locally don't stock them, they're special order only. Discount Tire quoted me $347 a tire! This was for a 315/35/17 btw.

I went with the Nitto 555's for the rears for now (really didn't want to go any cheaper than that, no kumhos or sumos). My front tires are Yoko's and they're practically brand new. Maybe when I need new tires again, I'll get the GSD3's all around.

I know the goodyears are great tires hence the price, but I didnt know they came in 17s. From what Ive heard the Nitto is a good tire at a damn good price too. I myself am reusing like new Coopers that are on the front of my car now. I figured Id save $300 and take the 275s off my car. On a side note, these the lugs you ordered "Gorilla Lock & Lug Nuts Pkg, Acorn Bulge, Closed End, 20PK (4 locks, 16 lugs), 12mm x 1.5"?

I was very close to ordering that set...but I decided to spend a little more and get the set where each lug is a lock. Just felt more comfortable to have that extra security...but I'm always paranoid though

This is the one off Thunder's website:
Part # 157-71633N
Gorilla Wheel Lock System, Acorn, Closed End, 20 PK (1 lock per stud), 12mm x 1.5

Regular Price: $44.99 - $4.50 (Black Friday discount)

I tried calling my local parts stores and no one stocks the Gorilla's. Only place local to me was Discount Tire but they were more expensive.

I've had my Goodyear GSD3's on my ZR1's for 3 years now and I like them. They handle very well and I like the aggressive tread pattern on them.

Nice wheels!!!!! I lost count on my wait time, but they are close to assembly. I can't wait to get my FM5's.

I had to go this route. My rear is narrowed 6", so no used market for those, especially with titanium black centers. My rear still isn't here, so I'm use to the wait game.

Definetly post up some pics when you get them mounted. By the way, where are you going to have them mounted?

Yeah the wait time was way to long, but I have no idea where I will have them mounted yet. All I know is they better not even scuff a wheel
