Lol...I've gone through a 14 month engine build with one or two more left in it before its "done".....thinking some of you guys would have jumped off a building by now

Trust in that they'll get it sorted it out. Lots of things we probably dont know behind the scenes that could be viewed as an excuse. I'm sure they hate the bad press across internet land as much as you guys hate waiting a few extra weeks.

Hang in there....they'll be worth the wait

All this waiting sux. But allan was the one who called me and closed the deal. About two weeks hearing fom him. Customs called me to confirm shipment and later that week the wheels were on my doorstep. This was almost a year ago. I wish I went with a full polish instead of all black. I do like the black. But that look is short lived.

I was ready to pull the trigger on ordering a set of Profil 13s, but all of this extended waits scared me away. I don't understand the extended waits. It's not like these are custom 1 of 1 setups. They've been making wheels to fit 4th gen f-bodies for more than 15+ years now. Do they only have one machine to make a wheel center and is there that much of a backlog in making wheels? It's not like these are new designs.

LPE 403, your situation is a little different in that your engine is a 1 of 1, custom, totally new setup with parts from multiple vendors delaying the process. With Fikse, I would assume that they make the centers in house, and source the barrels, but should have plenty of inventory in stock of both. So it would then be a case of assembling them as the orders came in.

I don't know. I still want a set of 18x9/18x11 Profil 13s, but I don't want to wait upwards of 12+ weeks in limbo not knowing what's going on. I would think for a standard 4th gen fitment, it shouldn't be more than a 2-3 week wait depending on if you specified anything custom like finish or sizing.

Keep in mind that set in the discounted thread probably already has most if not all the centers lying around somewhere. The reason they were discounted like the set of FM10s I bought is because the centers were already machined and ready to go. The set I bought had 3 of 4 faces already sitting there hence why I saved $750+ on the set I bought. Even though I ordered in late September and havent gotten mine, back then they were having material problems and then they changed the forging process on 17" FM10s. I cant see the wait being longer than 2 months now if they got caught up and no longer have material problems. Call Allan and voice your concerns and see what he says. Thats still a hell of a deal.
