Default tire still usable

got this pirelli tire and after further observation of the tire i noticed there is a chunk missing out of the inside lip. my question is would u guys still use this tire?

i had taken some pics, and after i put some silicone in it and the pics got deleted, that's why there is a little bit of "gray like" material on the tire fyi cause i scraped the silicone back off

I have used tires that were worse than that before with no problems. When you mount it just make sure to check it for leaks. It should seal up fine but if it doesnt some bead seal should take care of it.

Why take the risk? Take it to a professional tire shop and get their opinion.

you should be fine,all a tire shop is going to do is try and get you to buy a new tire

yep, took it to a guy and he said " that tire looks ok but if it was me i would buy another 1. aka i will sell u a used "good" tire for 160.

I have been working in a tire shop for about 10 years. If that was my tire, I would run it. If you were a customer in my shop I wouldn't mount that tire. Most tire shops Wont mount tires with damaged beads
