Default Front runner gains

Everything I have read says .1-.2. Are these real world results?

Good question, personally I don't think its worth the effort cause most racing is done on the highway....lol...jk, but seriously . Its a good mod for some one with an all out drag car but just my 2 cents

I couldn't tell you... I went from 18x 10's on all 4's with DR's(out back of course) to 15x8's and 15x4's.. Car was much faster in the 1/4, but I attribute most of that to better traction and 60' times with the ET Street rear DR's.. So, in the end, I guess I am no help... lol I am now running 15x10 and 17x4.5 but have not been to the track with this set up..

I'm very interested in this question as well. It will also depend on what wheels they are replacing and how big of a wheel/tire combo you had on before. I have 17" z06 wheels with 245 wide tires so idk how much I will gain, but I just picked up a set of race star wheels not to long ago.

.1-.2 was what I saw going from a 17x9 SLP ZR1 style wheel to a 15x4 convo pro and euro tire. You may pick up another tenth going to a true biased ply (light weight) front runner tire. Its nothing earthshattering, but it all adds up.

^ this, its not much but it adds up in the end, i love my drag setup but its a pain in the *** to dive on the street 24/7 , if its a street car imo street wheels is what should be on it, just safer and overall better ride,

Now for the question that always seems to be different. What actually fits the car with out grinding? What size of rim (15,17) and back space?

Race stars fit without grinding, are a good price. The backs need 7.5 back spacing.

^ not true ,some have had to grind with racestars, it really depends, i have heard of a few that went with weld rts and had to grind just a lil, bogarts are great but there not cheap, pro stars and wheels in that budget do require a good bit of grinding, but i have been driving on my grinded calipers for 2 years and have never had any issues , so im not to worried about that

I'm selling my car, and my street/strip wheel combo I'm selling separately. You could run these on the car 24/7 without having to worry about changing them out for the track or running too skinny a tire up front that would sacrifice braking performance. You won't find a better all around setup out there IMO.

Any that had to grind only had to grind very little off.
