Getting closer to having it on all fours. Still buttoning up the loose ends and making some slight modifications.
Test fitted front wheel. Looks good.

Are those front rims 18x9 or 18x9.5? What is the offset? I have 17x9.5 with a +.38mm offset. It seems like I have a bigger lip than yours but it could be the angle and the extra inch of height.

I'm changing my FM-5's from 17s to 18's so I can run the 15" Caddy CTS-V brake set-up in the front. But you need 1.25" of clearance between the spoke and the stock caliper to fit the bigger calipers. I only have about .25" inches of clearance now. I wouldn't want to run a 1" spacer and couldn't because the outside of the wheel is already flush with the fender. Do you still have stock calipers? What kind of clearance do you have now between the spoke and the caliper? Thanks.

If so, how much room do you have between your spokes and the calipers?

SStolen, I have the c5 brake rotors and calipers. Once I get the calipers on, I will get you some measurements. I do remember Danny telling me the 17" wheels would not clear the corvette brakes. These are 18"x9.5" wide with a backspace of 6.625". Hope this helps some.

If you're going to change to 18s order them for a BBK. No spacer....same offset....9.5s.

What is the BBK? Now is your brakes the same basic setup as the "ctsv" brakes? I would like to upgrade again one day on the brakes. Just call me crazy.

Those are V brakes Brian......with a twist

Easiest mod I've done in cost and effort with the greatest return to date.

Looks great! Did you use Z06 rotors or 5th gen Camaro rotors when you did the V conversion?

Question though, since I have the "c5 brackets", it looks like I would have to go with the c6zo6 brakes. Will they clear our 18's as well?

No brackets required. Caliper bolts directly to spindle. Check the sticky in the Brake Section. Step by step for ya

I thought I read the ctsV are direct bolt on, but the c6zo6 needed the brackets which i already have since I currently run the c5 brakes.

The CTS-V calipers are direct bolt on. The PBR Z06 calipers need a bracket. LPE used the CTS-V calipers with 14" Z06 rotors. I believe thats the confusion. Correct me if im wrong
