Well I already bought a set of bogarts this year that was a smoking deal as well. Guess I cant get lucky twice! The guy that had the HRE's works at a family owned car lot that specifies in high end luxury cars, and muscle cars. Lot is always full of f-bodies, and corvettes. The HRE's came in on an SS that he ended up buying from his dad. But from what I understand deals like that arent all that unusual there. Hopefully another set will come in!

I picked them up but they are pretty f-ed up. It looked like they went through a Rolex Series or two. Two of the wheels have bent/flat spotted inner barrels, that have been hammered back half way straight. Three of the wheels have bent/ flat spotted outer barrels. All of the wheels have horrible road rash. The center caps are faded too , and at 125.00 a piece i'll have more in the center caps than the wheels themselves. All the tires are shot, weather rotted and mis-matched sizes on the fronts. The rears are from 2006, Eagle F1's. That won't hold 507rwhp plus a 150 shot. HRE has new outer barrels at 250 each, and inner barrels for 200 each. Not sure if i'm going to replace them or not, you can't tell by driving them that they have flat spots in the rims, plus at 10' away most people won't even notice.
Sheldon, don't think you missed out on the deal of the year or anything. At least this way i don't have to worry about curb checking them after i Duke's of Hazzard them a few times.
The ZR1's in the above pic i just sold to buy these HRE's, had 50,000 miles and were 8 years old with not one scratch or flat spot on them. These HRE's were off a low miles C5 from a local used car lot that gets there cars at auction. Not sure how the hell they ended up this bad unless it was off a race car.
