Default Corvette rims vs knock offs???

Hi all, was wondering if there was any difference between a OEM Corvette C6, C6 Z06, and a C5 Z06 vs buying some regular replica rim. Im not sure if their lighter or built better, or anything like that.

Any comments?

Thanks

OEM is generally lighter by a lb or 2 per wheel.

A friend of mine has 2 of the c5z replicas and 2 oem on his car and says the quality is noticeably worse on the replicas.

My replicas were considerably heavier, definately more than a 2 lbs per rim. The OEM Vette wheels are really light

Only way one would be able to notice is like your friend is doing and have the two sets right there in front of them or was parked next to on with the real ones and you had the knock offs.
