Have problem getting tires to seat
I hear of guys taking PSI to 90-100 for problematic tires --

I ask you guys for any help you can offer.
It helps some to pull them off the rim and try mounting them again sometimes. It "loosens" the sidewall up.
Otherwise back in my Tire and Lube Express days, we'd take them up to 90 psi and call it quits after that if they didn't seat. Obviously do this at your own risk, but usually a tire that's that hard of compound/sidewall isn't problematic. Be careful
tire is factory size of 275/40/17

Haven't tried removing and reinstalling, only breaking rear bead and rotating around (thinking it might be a certain spot on tire/rim) with no luck.
I did notice the wheels have a strange lip on the inside where the tire pops over. It's squared instead of rounded like every other wheel I've done. I am a noob at doing tires at my shop, but have worked at tire shop before...
I've mounted MANY a tire in my day, and there's no way I'd inflate a tire over 50-60 lbs. of air pressure.

GOT THEM TO POP TODAY. Positioned my toolbox between me and the tire. Inflated the crap outta them. One popped at 67-70, others popped between 85-90.
I haven't mounted thousands, but I would say several hundred and have never had to take it above 55 psi. Thanks for all the input from everyone!!
