More than likely the plastic had something to do with it too. Billet Specialties should wrap these in something different

When you get this sorted out, please post up some pics. I also own a red WS6 and am interested in the BS Street Lites in 17x7/17x11.

Mine didn't look like that when I bought mine. If you get new wheels sent to you the best thing to do is take them to someone who powder coats and let them put clear on them, and you'll never have to polish them again. They'll look brand new from now on

Anybody in this thread have some tips for cleaning them really good? I have Adams wheel polish that I have yet to use on the Street Lites. I used it on my prostars and they came out blingin.

Sorry for taking so long to reply. I sent them back this past saturday and called Billet Specialties today to follow up. I wanted to verify that I wasn't wrong here, and that their quality control needs to be a little more strict. They agreed that they weren't up to standards and that they didn't know how or why they were sent out like that.

I will post pics up after I get them on. I have considered getting them powdered clear....

Here is the car right now. Black torque thrus m's...

I've had polished wheels before. So

Can you buff that out quicker then boxing them back up and sending them back? Probably.
If you buff them out or get new ones, will they look the same or worse after the first month? Probably.

You can see where I'm going with this eh?

I'm having them cleared when I get them lol.

agree thats why i would have been upset as well, i know what those cost and you shouldnt have to pay that much and have to do a full polish on them right out the box, let me know what clear they use, polishing wheels all the timesucks
