Default How wide can I go?

Right now on my WS6 I'm running a 17x9 up front and a 17x11 in the back. 275-40-17 and a 315-35-17. Its just about time for rear tires but I was wondering if I could get any wider. I've all ready trimmed the bump stops and did the BFH mod just for insurance but I probably wouldn't have needed it. Do you think a 335 will fit without and problems? I'm also about to be lowered on Stranos and If I can I'd like to go a little wider up front as well. Thanks

315 is as wide as I'd go for 11".

335s will fit...just make sure you have an adj phb, fenders are rolled, and keep a big hammer handy. If your offset is ok, the hammer may not be needed

I'd be really hesitant to put 335's on my car if it were lowered. It will probably really depend on the brand of tire, too. Many people have to do the BFH/PHB/bumpstip trim/fender rolling to run 315's, let alone 335's, at stock height.

Also, other than they look badass, there is no reason you need 335's.

I'm not sure what the offset is but they're TTII's bought for an Fbody. I just want them for looks. I'm kind of worried about rolling the fenders. Whats the best way to do. Put a baseball bat between it and the tire? What about on the front to? And with a 335 do I need to drop to a 30?

They have fender rolling kits for rent on some websites that uses a special tool. Some people use a rag/heatgun/pliers but Im not that brave.

I used a $5 mini wooden baseball bat from Walmart to roll my fender lips. It worked perfectly for me since my car sits so low. I had to slightly Jack up the car so I could get the bat between the tire and fender. That trick may not work so well if your car isn't low enough.

What kind of tires are those? Does cornering hard cause rubbing on the inside fender?

Member 69TA rents the roller tool, and a heat gun. That is who I rented one from.

Theyre actually 315 BFG KDs but just a hair wider than the 335 Hoosiers in my garage. My wheels are 36mm offset and the only, and I mean ONLY rubbing Ive had is the outer drivers side on extreme right turns
