Is anyone running or know if a 285/40R17 will fit on a 10.5 inch rim? I've tried looking at the tires specs and recommended wheel size, but I'm not sure. I noticed that the wheel sizes listed for this tire says 9.5 - 11.0 but also I noticed that they say a 275/40R17 will fit 9.0 - 11.0" rim. So has anyone tried running a 275 or 285 on a 10.5 inch rim?

a 285 will fit on a 10.5" rim, but will probably look a little stretched. It would better on a 10" wheel.

If it's a tire that runs wide like a BFG, then it 'll look fine.
