Default 1st &2nd gen f body and 4th gen wheel interchange/ compatibility

I have a bunch of cars and thinking about compiling one set of light drag wheels that could interchange between them all.

my thoughts are all gens are gm small 5 lug ( 5x4.75?)

keep 5th gen cars out of the picture , I am too cheap to buy one of those for several more years...

I will need to be sure the fronts can clear at least 4th gen f body brakes , more incase I own something with big brakes in the future

to be sure I can clear fenderwells on old cars I should probably stick to 8's in the rear shouldnt need wider , not looking to go any quicker than 11.50's with anything I own anytime soon.

I have several pairs of dr's now in 15 & 16 between my fwd & rwd wheels (15 et street , 16 QTP bias , 16 qtp dr , 2 pair 16 nitto 555's 225&245)

I have seen about every factory combination used from 3rd gen irocs to chevelles , to s10's sharing factory wheels .What do I need to concern myself with besides larger front brakes now tht I have a couple 4th gens ? offsets different ?

please expose the flaws in my thinking

My 2nd gen Camaro uses way different offsets than my 4th gen. My 4th gen rears are 15x10 with 7.5" backspace, my 2nd gen rears are 15x10 with 5.5" backspace.
