Default Got the wheels and tires on!!

Next weekend I am going to paint the front end of the car, then direct my attention to the quarter panel to get it straight. BTW the Sumitomo HTRZ work very well IMO. They ride smooth and handle very well.

Comparison of the 315 and the 255s that were on the car

I loved the look of the 315 chrome ZR1s on my SS but they were so HEAVY!

Yeah they are pretty heavy. I'm not using them at the track, I am trying to set up a deal where I am trading my American Racing wheels for some stock rims, hopefully it works out. Then I can just get some DRs for those wheels.

I am so sorry that I sold my AFS chrome ZR1 rims 17x9.5 and 17x11 just for the fact that they completely changed the look of my SS. I loved driving my SS and coming up to a red light...I would watch my rearview mirror; the people in the car behind me would stop 15ft back and sit up in their seats to stare at my 315s! I was running BFG Comp T/A ZRs (not drag radials) and the 315s gave a bit more traction then the 275s but not much. I would only run them for about a week then switch to my stock rims because I could really tell the difference in acceleration with the added weight; that was the only downfall.

I love the black with polished lip AFS wheels, plan on getting some in the future. At first I wanted to get the same setup with the 9.5"s and 11's but I just don't think it's practical for everyday driving. The 9.5's all around seem like a better setup if you don't have other wheels to swap out to for the track. I like the look of the 315's but the price of tires and the weight hit seem too much for me.
