Question Best Tire for you high horsepower street racers..

For all you making 600rwhp+ and street race from a dig and leave good... Whats the tire to run, tried 275/60/15 mt drag radials and spins pretty decent. I have qa1's all around, and thats setup good and good tire pressure. Working with a 15x8 prostar also..

We have a car that we do some racing with and it pulls the fronts on 275/60/15 M/t on the street no problem. 325/50/15's work alittle better if you get a 10 inch wheel and make the room for them. Car run's 6.20's btw.

I dont have 600 rwhp i have 475.... I use either 26x11.5x15 micky slicks or toyo 315/35/18 drag radials. Both stick well

Im making right at 600 and I run a 275/50/17 M&H drag radial. I Hook up extremly well on concrete with a heated up tire. Sounds like you need your suspension adjusted properly if that tire isnt working for you. Or just step up to a Hoosier DOT radial, and dont get caught in the rain.

I cant speak about 600 ish horsepower. But I run nt05r nittos. They don't require much heat especially with lOw pressure. Much better than 555r. At least something else to consider.

Ok, mine hooks good on motor, but when you bring in the nitrous anytime within 50ft it blows the tires away and spins into 2nd.. I thought a found a good tire pressure and somewhat good suspension set up, but guess not lol
