Well I do agree that CCW, iForged and some of the other big names do make an amazing wheel for the F-Body. I'm just trying to not spend a ton. I just spent close to $9K on wheels for the Vette and the SS is supposed to be a "work car," so I'm trying to get a nice clean look on a budget.

LoL I was being sarcastic lol
He just bought 360 forged wheels for his C5, some used CCW's run about 2k with tires all day on corvette forum. Wait a couple months and save up if you have to! That's how I see it.
If its just a "work" car why use a nice fbody? LoL or why not just keep the chrome ten spokes?
Oh and the NICEST wheels on a Camaro are the ones YOU think are the nicest lol
But you can't ask what the "nicest" wheels are with out everyone mentioning the high dollar wheel names, which your obviously familiar with lol GL.

I always went with Corvette wheels just like everyone else just because of the availability and how easy it was to get them for good prices. Only thing that bothered me was that it's a stock wheel from another car on ours, and that those are basically the go to wheels for fbodies so seeing any Corvette wheels is almost like seeing a stock set of fbody wheels.
That said I would get some C5 DD wheels, or something that's not a factory oem wheel that has a change to the style. Those DD wheels do this perfectly to the point where it looks like a completely different wheel to me, going with a machine face does this for me as well.
I got some TSW wheels a while back just by luck locally and have always loved them but never bothered with them before that because of how easy it is to get a set of corvette wheels for our cars. It's nice to have a purely aftermarket wheel that isn't so common.
Not the best pics, but all I have at the moment.
Here's two of my old Z's, one with gloss black/polished lip, and with C5 take offs.
I think they all work with any fbodies as long as it's the right finish for the color car you've got. It's just that it's so common for us to see Corvette wheels that it's become less of something special compared to when you see a wheel that's not factory made on the car.

When I need new tires I am going to look at the chrome Z06 wheels in 18x9.5 Front and 18x10.5 Rear so I have a better selection of tires.

Ha Ha! Omg that's so true man. That pic sucks ***.
Charlie, I'm diggin' the machined Forgestar F05s. You can run a 19x11 as well. Little BFH, little grinding to the quarter lip (inside) and it'll fit fine. 295/30/19 will square up perfect.
As for the most budget minded wheel/tire combo, Ruff Racing, American Racing, HP Evos are all good.
I do think a C5DD painted black could emulate this...
