Stock 17 rim fit a 275/40/17 tire?

I was wondering if I could stick a Hoosier D.O.T. Drag Radial
Tire Size: P275/40R17
Tread Width: 9.8"
Diameter: 25.7"
Circle: 81.0"

on a stock 17" WS6 rim?

Yes it will work, that is also the stock tire size that came on the WS6/SS cars

I've never put a drag radial on a stock rim before. Didn't want to make a fatal mistake 2 weeks before my first race lol

yeah you should be fine, I got 275/40/17s on my SS with room, 275 slicks should be A-OK. Good luck

Thanks! I normally run Pro Stars 15", but this season I felt like changing it up a bit. I just really like the WS6 wheels a lot.
