HOw wide are my stock wheels? I've got stock 16 on my trans am and I'm wondering how wide they are? I have searched but cannot find it all I find is that they are 16 and that 245 go on them. I want to find the biggest size tire I can put on as well

Kumho makes 265/45r16 competition tires that fit the 8"-9.5" wheels . Their Ecsta XS summer street tires in that size are for 8.5"-10" wheels but fit fine on the 8". The widest tire for the 16"×8" wheel from most companies will be the 255/50r16.
