Default Weld RTS 17" or 18" skinny fronts?

I've got 15x10 Weld black RTS wheels for my narrowed rear, but need to purchase the fronts. Right now I have stock 98 brakes, but might do the CTS-V fronts down the road. I see they are fitting some 17" fronts, but not sure if anyone has tried the RTS on them yet? I've searched and it looks like a few Cobra guys run the 18x5 fronts.

Anyone have an opinion either way?

personally I love the look of 18" fronts
you also don't have to mess around with or worry about clearing the brakes

and nowadays the push is to go bigger and after a while when you start seeing
you mom's minivan rolling out the factory with 18's and 19's, you feel funny
when your front tires look like an airplane tire with all the big *** sidewall showing.

any how if you want to save some money I have some 18" aluminum spares
from a CtsV that I am looking to sell. they make great skinnies with out breaking the bank like RTS's

I think 18s are to big, who knows though be the first to try something new. My new rim combo will be an 18 front with a 17 rear

Just stopped in the Summit in Georgia on the way home from vacation, its a supposed 3 week wait to get them. I guess I will order them direct from Weld, unless any vendors stock them?

Wont the 15's clear your stock brakes? If you go with a ctsv front you can probably run longer wheel studs with a spacer.

Most of these wheels are being built per-order. They generally take 2-3 weeks.
