Default new wheels - spacers added

1" hubcentric spacer/adapters added - pics below

I'm not one to switch wheels on my car unless I come out ahead and in this case, I was able to sell my old wheels (sig pic) and get these, the ones I always wanted, without spending a dime. In fact, I profited roughly a tank of gas. Up to this point, I have spent less than $200 on modding my car, trading parts or labor for everything on/in it.

They're 19x8.5 RPM 505's, hypersilver with a machined/semi-polished lip. They came off a 'hyperflush' BMW so the tires (245/35s) are a tad stretched but I have a pair of 275/35s I may put on the back. Regardless, the tires are almost brand new, still having the 'nipples' on them.

I'm considering having the rears widened 2" for some 305s or 315s... or selling/trading them for a different 17x9/11 combo... havent decided yet

BMW decals will be coming off once I figure out what the hell kind of demon-posessed super glue he used to stick them on

lemme know what you think

spacers

before/afters - I'll get a full car pic when the sun decides to come out

New wheels look good, they'd be sweet in 11's on the back.

I like them. They are too tucked in though. You'd benefit from a set of spacers. Over all though a good look!

If it was mine, I would try to sell the two rears and replace them with 19x9.5 with the 3 inch lip. Stick the 275's on the new rims if you are on a budget. I wouldn't widen the current rims because the spokes are too domed, meaning they curl over too much just so that you can have a bigger looking lip. The center of the spokes are almost flush with the outer edge of the wheel, which is ok on the front.

Looks great now...gives the illusion that you are running quite a bit wider out back.

It looks great now, and i wouldn't spend the cash to widen wheels and buy tires. Not worth it IMO unless you are making a bunch of power...

Why would someone widen those rims, when you can go out and buy 2 rears with 1 inch more lip( better looking), and save money over having them widened, and don't forget the price of adapters(too late now). If you sold 2 19x8.5's for 200 bucks and bought 2 19x9.5's for 400, or whatever they are, It's going to be cheaper than 400 or so for widening. If you are going to widen them 2 inches, then what about the weight factor? Widening them would be the equivalent of widening some 18x11 ccw classics with a 2 inch lip becoming 18x12 with a 2 inch lip and bolting them on a C5 vette, haha. Looks better OP. Any pics from behind?
