They do sorta look like C6's when looking straight on but the concave features make the rims awesome! I think you made a good choice but I've never been completely turned on with polished wheels on black cars. Looks good but just feel like theres better ways to do things. Love the CCW's but would be better in another color/finish. Going to the gunmetal CF5's is gonna look awesome on that car. I have oem comp gray C6's on my black 3rd gen...love them but would love to go deep concave CF5's...somewhat similar style and color with a better look with the concave design.
Cant wait to see them on your car!

My CF5's (matte black with white pen stripe) have an ETA of 3 weeks as of 6/26/12....really looking forward to getting them in and on. Here is a pic of the car as it sits now (so you can see the look I'm going for).

Since the car will be set up for Autox/HPDE I went with 18x10 f and 18x11 R, Matte black with white pin strip around the lip. Forgestar suggested that was as big as I could go, and based on what I have read, if you plan to drive that setup on the street, 18x11 F is probably a little much. Maybe at some point, for racing, I can go 18x11 F. With 18x10F/18x11R I can get buy with running the same size tire front and rear, since my buddy owns a tire shop, I can get him to rotate them for me. Tire selection is tough though...I've got to run a 200 treadwear or higher tire for alot of these events. Being limited to that, and needing something along the lines of a 295/35 18", my choices are somewhat limited. Wanting to stay with an affordable tire, and one that has a proven track record in this type of performance, has proven to be somewhat of a challenge. I had planned on going NTO5, but after reading some racing reports, alot of folks said they didn't like them. So I'm considering Michelin Pilot Super sports, Bidgestone Potenza S04 Pole position, Continental Extremecontact DW...
