I have the NT05 and love them but straight line traction is nothing special. They are designed for cornering. Mine are almost worn out with about 14,000 miles on them. I have heard good things about the DR (NT05R) version.

Look on the website for Nitto and get the treadwear rating. It will give you a better understanding on what you can expect for live of the tire. My old Yokahamas are rated at 280 but I have had them on my car for over 33,000 miles. Time to replace for they are really hard now and ride like crap.

I was gonna run a 275 NT05 on front and 315 NT05r on the rear on mine. From what I gathered 5k ish for the nt05r and 12k ish for the NT05. But yeah basically twice as much mileage then the NT05r's

i ran my first set of NT05 tires for almost 20k miles and they were bald. daily driving miles and weekend corner carving. if you autox expect 7k-10k miles on the NT05. The NT05R is the drag radial, and they have been reviewed and compared to a younger brother to the MT ET street. the ET street beat out the NT05R but you also pay more for the Mickey and im sure get less wear. just whatever you do, do not get the NT05R on the front. it belongs on the rear only.
