Plug in MT Sportsman
So, I somehow got a hole dead in the middle of one of my two month old MT Sportsmans. It was a small hole, I had to work to get the reamer through the tires. The hole was pretty much dead center of the tread, in between two thread blocks. I reamed it, covered one of those really soft super sticky tire plugs in rubber cement, and plugged it. After plugging and trimming the plug even, I lit it for about 10 seconds to try to heat the plug a little and get it to bond with the tire and to cure some of the cement.
It seams to be holding air just fine, no leaks that I can tell, but it's only been a day.
What are y'all's opinions on runnining this tire? I don't go to the track much, but I DO dick around on the highway a bit. The tire has pretty much ZERO tread wear.
