i run the MT P295/55R15 et street radial on a stock width mwc 9 inch on weld racing rims. they just barely fit but look soooo good. i had to grind very slightly on the calipers and tweaked the bumper stops. you should make sure you have an adjustable pan hard bar to center the rearend side to side as well as adjustable lca's to center the axle front to back.

I ran these on my car for a while, had them mounted on speedlines. I'm dropped on the Eibach Pro-kit and don't have my fenders rolled and had no issues.

Question for mterveen. Do those 295's ever rub?

I bought a used set of the Billet Specialties Fbody wheels, which are 15X10 with a 7.5 back space (+51mm offset). They came off a '97 camaro, and were wearing the 325/50/15s MT DRs. I did a little BFH mod to my inner fender, and removed what was left of my bump stops(they were previously modified), and they do clear, but fit very tight, less than a quarter inch of clearance at the front inside, and I believe they will rub going around corners. The tires do have some wear on them. I was thinking that if I replaced them with the 295's and I'd be good to go. I have a fully adjustable suspension, LCA, PHB, TA etc. The other option would be to go with the 275/60/15s, but they are not really recommended for a 10 inch wide wheel. The MT website says 7.5-9.5 is the recommeded wheel size. Anyone run 275/60/15's on a 10 inch wheel? The 295's would be prefered for both looks and traction, if I'm sure they will not rub. I'm about 440 RWHP stalled auto with the current setup, the 325s are probably overkill for now anyhow. Would the 295 be over kill vs a 275, any opinions on that?

i have summit stars running 275/60/15 with Hoosier Drag Radial with a 1.7 60ft with a 150 shot. those are 28' tall tires if you did a 275/50/16 they would be 26' and i believe stock height on the tire is 26 or 24. but i would diffidently look up those tires. for a drag set up there the best you can buy.
